  • 10 Feel-Good Fashion Purchases To Make This Spring

    Bag: Topshop

    Boots: Topshop

The sun is out to play finally and I don’t know about you but it is doing me the world of good! There is nothing like the arrival of spring to brighten up your mood, and for those of you who really want to get in the spirit of things; here are 10 feel-good fashion purchases to make you extra happy this season!

These are pieces that have that fun factor to give your outfits that lift for spring!

    1.       The White Shirt

It’s minimal, clean, chic and versatile. A white shirt gives you that blank canvas to work around, add this to any look and you are giving your outfit that fresh, spring appeal. I team white shirts with a lot of outfits because they are so versatile and give your looks that tailored edge. This spring there are different takes on the white shirt from corset details, to tie fronts and puff sleeves so you can have more fun with this classic garment.

    2.       The Embellished Sandals

What is more fun than elaborate details on your shoes? The high street is offering so many cool, embellished sandals for spring and I am loving it! Highly detailed shoes elevate a simple outfit and most importantly make you feel like you have your fashion game in check because everyone is going to comment on them! Team with light denim and a classic white shirt and you are ready to go!

    3.       The Mini Skirt

Ahhh, this is going to be completely your cup of tea, or your worst nightmare. Love it or hate it the mini is this seasons must have skirt. If the prospect of a shorter skirt isn’t too much for you then definitely invest in some denim options. This skirt will get you in the mood for better weather and team with a cute, long sleeved blouse and boots to make it more spring appropriate!

    4.       The Nude Bag

New bags always make us girls happy so of course this is on the list! We all have black bags but if you are on the hunt for a new bag for spring then definitely opt for one in a nude colour. Like your black bag, nude is going to go with all of your outfits and the lighter hue will automatically elevate your look. For a style update, choose a cross body bag with a chain and wrap the handle around your wrist a few times like a bracelet as I have in today’s post!

    5.       The Embroidered Jeans

Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last few months you will have noticed these adorable little denim pieces cropping up on the high street. Embroidered jeans are a great way to sass up an outfit for spring, this playful style of denim is going to make you feel pretty cute walking down the road.

    6.       The Yellow Piece

Colour has a huge effect on our moods, so if you adopt a bit of yellow into your wardrobe this spring you will definitely feel happier! Yellow is making a modest appearance in stores right now, from tailoring to pretty dresses and shoes! Make it less scary by teaming it with white items to wash it out a little!

    7.       The Ballerina Pump

The ballet trend is set to be huge this spring summer, and the ballerina pump is an easy way to adopt the trend. They’re cute, simple to style and more importantly comfortable! This elegant footwear style will make even your most plain outfits look a bit more fancy and spring-ready. Team with jeans and a t-shirt for a relaxed day-to-day look.

    8.       The Gypsy Crop Top

I have been obsessing over these tops for the past couple of weeks with new styles popping up on the likes of ASOS and Missguided recently. If you are not sure what I am talking about then they are a bardot style crop top with a slightly billowing cut, giving it that gypsy-esque look. These are so fun and seem to be donning a lot of fine embroidered patterns and bohemian prints, adding character to your outfits.

    9.       The Tea Dress

Cute, floaty and minimal, the tea dress is a great stand-alone piece for the season. Team it with pretty sandals and a mini bag and you are set! The fit of a tea dress is super flattering for all figures and looks so feminine, this has to be on the list of feel-good fashion because everyone can wear them and feel great!

    10.       The Slogan Tee

Elevate your spring outfits with a slogan tee. What’s great about this piece is that you can adapt this trend to suit your personality. If bands make you happy, get some band tees, if you love a bit of humour, wear something funny! If like me you are liking this whole ‘girl power’ craze that is taking over the fashion industry right now, there are some awesome feel-good tees to make us feel happy to be a woman in 2017 as well!

I hope this has inspired you to add a bit of happiness to your wardrobe this season! Shop my favourite picks on this post where you will find my outfit to shop too!
