So I am going to start with my favourite thing from today’s post, that being my new beautiful summer handbag. Radley very kindly gifted me a bag of my choice and I went for their Liverpool Street bag in the Mink colour. I am over the moon with the colour; I love the tone and it complements my summer wardrobe completely; working perfectly with whites and neutrals. The finish is effortlessly feminine and a really modern, classic style. The Liverpool Bag is a really nice size, medium with the right amount of space to carry your essentials and more; but small enough to look nice when wearing with pretty outfits. It has the cute design detail of the little dusky purple Radley dog and soft pink pebble charms. This bag is a welcomed addition for summer, so easy for day-to-day, or as a work bag; and really timeless so I can wear it for the foreseeable future. I think it will make for a good transitional piece as well when heading into the colder months with camel, tan and black shades.
The leather is a really smooth leather, really soft to the touch and a really sophisticated style that I am enjoying wearing so much for summer. If you are after a bag which is not at the level of Mulberry and Chloe but also not as affordable as your high street brands of Topshop and River Island; Radley is a great mid-price-point brand to consider. This bag retails at £189 making it a great piece to treat yourself to if you want a premium bag. This style also comes in a variety of colours. I am really, really pleased with it.
I teamed my bag for this post with a new white dress from ASOS which is such a cool little piece that will most-definitely be coming with me to Cyprus next month. The raw feel to the fabric and the vintage style wooden buttons are a really nice touch. I popped my hair up into a low, curly ponytail which is a look I am growing fonder of.
Something I am also fond of is my new summer skin care. I have been using a skin care brand which I really want to mention on my blog. Freshly cosmetics sent me their skincare detox plan to try out and not only is it an extremely 'Instagrammable' brand, the products are really beautiful to use. There is a real tropical, contemporary feel to all of the items I received and I am particularly fond of the caffeine moisturiser, avocado shower gel and raspberry scrub; which have all now been completely used up!
The idea is to use the products in conjunction for an all body detox. The shampoo and shower gel detoxify your hair and skin from sulphates and silicones. The firming body cream and body scrub nourishes and exfoliates your skin to stimulate cell renewal and give you a soft smooth finish. Then the facial toner refreshes, hydrates, purifies and balances your skins Ph.
The caffeine moisturiser and scrub which are my favourite help with cellulite and to firm up areas of your body that need it; but they have a real fresh, fruity smell. These really are the ultimate summer skin care products with the beautiful scents and the overall healthy, fresh and energising feeling they give to your skin. I love the concept of avocado for the shower gel, for natural, nutrient-dense skin care. All beautiful products for a bit of simple, summer luxury. I will probably take these products away as my holiday skincare this year. You can purchase this set for £70 or purchase the products individually. I will leave a link [here] for you to view as they have lots more products than I have mentioned in this post!
