What I Wore In Gran Canaria & Honest Zaful Swimwear Review

White Bikini | Zaful

I am so pleased to be posting my holiday content today. Gran Canaria was such a good trip for gaining more love for what I do; being creative, playing with fashion and always trying to improve and be innovative with imagery and video content. If you haven’t already then do check out my holiday content on Youtube by clicking [here].

I wanted to dedicate this post slightly to Zaful. I was very kindly approached by Zaful who asked if I would like to receive an item from them for free to review. I will be honest I was a little apprehensive, however I have heard lots of people talk about their swimwear in particular, with relatively good reviews and really wanted to give them a chance. I thought it would be good to try some swimwear for myself and give you guys an honest review of it if you were not sure yourself about whether to spend your money with this brand.

So first of all shipping was so so good, bearing in mind that it is an overseas company the items arrived with me roughly 8-10 days after placing the order. Fantastic! When the package arrived the item was presented in a clear reseal-able bag with the Zaful branding which I thought firstly looked great!  Secondly I thought the bag was perfect to use on holiday to protect belongings in your beach bag from water. Or you could use it for putting your wet bikini in if you get changed at the beach and go for lunch etc. Touch!

Now for the swimwear itself. I must say shopping online at Zaful was so much fun for swimwear. They have an overwhelming amount of designs online, with so many different styles and colours; and so many innovative designs I hadn’t seen before. Zaful do love a high leg design this year and also a thong bikini; if you are a Love Island kind of girl then you will definitely be satisfied with this brand. However if you are like me and like something more demure as well, then there are also lots on offer for you as well.

The pricing is so so good. Like so good! With costs ranging from roughly $10 to £20.

I went for something a little different. I already had some lovely all-in-one swimsuits and an array of triangle and bandeau bikinis to take with me so I opted for this crop top style bikini as I loved the vintage feel to it and the style goes completely with my aesthetic. This also comes in other colour options too! Big thumbs up on the design side of things.

When I got the bikini out of the bag, the first thing that came into my head was how amazing the fabric felt. I am not going to lie, I was preparing myself for some see-through flimsy items; but this bikini was one of the best in quality I have had for a long while. The material was really thick and structured, soft and with the right amount of stretch to it. Really impressed!

Sizing for me was pretty much spot on, I could have maybe done with a slightly smaller top but that is because of the style I chose I think, and the fact I am pretty petite with a smaller bust. Since being away I have washed this bikini and I can report that even though it is white, the colour has remained intact and it has washed absolutely fine. Shop more white bikinis here!

So my verdict? The quality to price ratio completely exceeds what I thought. It is honestly more than worth the small amount of money you are paying. Next summer I will spend my own money on swimwear for my summer holidays for sure.

I have also recently received an item of clothing from Zaful which I will review on here very soon, so be sure to follow me on Instagram to see when that goes up!

I might investigate. I really struggle to find good swimwear because I have a very large bust but I am a size 12 on the bottom!

Have a little look hun, to be honest I can’t comment on how good it is for a larger bust, but for the money it is not too much of a risk to try out. I have heard swimwear 365 are really good for bigger busts? I always need a bigger bottom than top, so hard to get it right isn’t it lol. Thanks for commenting lovely xxx
